Danielle and Jerimiah’s Holiday Valley Wedding

I first met these two at Danielle’s brothers wedding that we had shot in 2013. This couple just knew that Phenomenon would be a great fit for their wedding. Holiday Valley was the perfect location for the ceremony and reception to take place. There were so many little details that made the wedding so wonderful. There was nothing that wasn’t customized to the wedding. Even the pergola that they were married under was made special for the day. The day could not have been any better. Congrats to the new married couple!

Jerra & Chris’s Pittsburgh Winter Wedding! – The Priory Hotel and Heinz Chapel – PHENOMENON

When you think about it, we are truly lucky we get to meet the people we meet and visit the places we get to visit! Jan 18th 2014 was a perfect day for Jerra & Chris we had so much fun working their wedding. It felt like we were working friends’ wedding and not clients! We were even so graciously asked to the rehearsal! The day of the wedding the guys did a little sight seeing from the back of a billboard with the city of Pittsburgh in the background. The ladies had a beautiful morning prep at the Priory Hotel in downtown Pitt!

The ceremony was jaw dropping at the beautiful and famous Heinz church. After the ceremony we headed to the Cathedral of learning where we shot in a very unique setting. It almost looks like you step back into time, or a Harry Potter style feel. We continued to the PPG Building (Wayne Enterprises…for you Batman Lovers) 😉 We also headed over to the Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers) memorial with a beautiful view of the city of Pittsburgh, PA in the background.

The reception kicked off at the Priory Hotel and Banquet center. We had a ton of fun! DJ MJ from PHENOMENON kept the party going! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from the wedding day.

Andy and Kristin are a sweet, shy, low-key couple. They were very quiet at the beginning of their session,by the end they were chatting a little more, and Kristin was cracking jokes. (I think that’s because we will talk your ears off if you don’t stop us!) From their engagement session, we can already tell their July wedding is going to be full of love and sweetness! Beeta and Michael’s June 1st wedding was a long awaited day – the couple met nearly seven years earlier and were in a long distance relationship for five of those years leading up to that very day. The ceremony and reception were both held at the classic and elegant Buffalo Club, with a wedding to match. The exquisite ceremony was a traditional, secular Persian ceremony, followed by a lively reception with plenty of both contemporary Persian dance and electronic dance music.
